Notes

I love everything about this project--the stitch textures, the cowl size I got out of two skeins, the dye method used, the approach to “planned pooling.”

Incredible yarn for slip stitch.

I took Laura Bryant’s class and tried slip stitch in place of the knitted ideas she discussed. Laura had beautiful crochet examples also with the sc+ch-1 “seed st” pattern. Not only was I ferociously curious about planned pooling with slip stitches, in this case I also wanted to avoid a stitch pattern that alternates two sts across the row, like seed st does.
