Notes

This size Small vest took exactly one skein (a few yards are left over).

The crocheting alone took 45 minutes and I’d say the steeking and edging would take a total of another 45 minutes now that I’ve worked out the pattern. That means this vest doesn’t even take 2 hours from start to finish! Is that possible?!

This Zumie yarn is great for crocheting and for a giant-gauge lace like this because it’s a z-twisted single ply. It held up well to my ripping out and reworking too. The result feels soft and lush (not like bouncy spaghetti, which can happen with crocheted superbulkies).

The yarn is so easy to work with that I just hand-looped and weaved in the ends.

A Medium or Med-Lg size would be better on me, but I’d wear the unsteeked wrap-scarf version of this easily.
