OK, so this isn’t true crazy lace, but it is inspired by the crazy lace idea. I haven’t read Myra Wood’s book, Crazy Lace (who can afford $154 for an OOP 100pg paperback from 2009???), but I am inspired by the idea behind it, & this is my first project with that aesthetic in mind. Which means when I made a mistake, I just worked it in.

• double-wide (CO 115 sts)
• bigger needles (#8US)

Measurements

• unblocked = 21” x 58”
• blocked = 21” x 72” (Tried to block deeper, but it didn’t work out that way.)

I over-dyed the gray yarn into a more ‘Velma’ colorway that I’m calling ‘2 Buck Chuck’

9/7: Measures ~50”.
9/4: Measures ~44”. Yeah, I know, I’ve kinda stalled.
8/30: Damn allergies. No knitting today.
8/29: Measures ~40”.
8/28: Back up to 38”.
8/27: Shit. Knit to 38”, discovered dropped st about 3” back; tried to fix; fail. Will frog & reknit tomorrow.
8/26: Measures ~33”.
