Notes

whee!!! a challenge, but so cool! Will use silver for moon instead of gold. I am also using embroidery floss for the leaves. I’m using DMC lots 971, 919, 921, 922, plus light and dark brown for the broom. I’m making her look more like me, with blond hair, and the cat look like my black cat. I’ll use beads for eyes on him. I am sewing the pieces together instead of gluing them as the instructions recommend. I’m more comfortable with that, since glue+me=trouble.
2-11-10: Finished the body and dress. :-) Time for a break.
5-18-10: Hat is done, now onto the moon.
11-18-11: Moon is halfway finished! I found this sitting on a shelf, bkew the dust off and now I want to see if I can finish the moon by December. It’s the biggest piece, so everything after this will be cake.
3-25-12: Picked it up again, only one more repeat for the moon, then finishing it. whew! Is the end in sight? I decided to put this in my kitchen when I finish, for my kitchen witch.
Dec 2013: o.m.g. When will I ever finish this? The main parts are done except for the pumpkins, cat, and leaves.

Just the little stuff left to make, then construction! Hoping to display this by Halloween.

Pumpkins and leaves should be finished today, I made fewer than the pattern suggests but I like them, they’ll pop against the silver moon. I decided not to make a broom.
