This is fun! The pattern is easy to follow, especially with the accompanied photos. Using a larger hook adds a nice drape/flexibility to the stitches. It is a relaxing pattern and it’s fun to see how it grows and watch the colors pop. I’m definitely using old stash for this! Lots of random leftovers like cotton or those old skeins of red heart. I think this will be a nice throw for when we watch movies, I can even work on it while we watch movies! I can just keep adding on and on and on… Such a clever pattern!
I added a couple rows of sc around the edge. I love it! Not sure how it got ruffly, but my youngest claimed it as his nap blanket. So everyone is happy!

I took this up again as a good place for scraps! I’m doing alternating rows of sc and dc with leftover yarn. I love it!

One more partial skein and I’m calling this finished! It’s a very nice lap sized blanket. I did hdc for the last couple colors.
