Notes

gauge: 24sts= 10cm
I checked the notes (marked as useful) by others and decided to knit the lace panel on 3,5mm dpns and use 4mm for the rest - to avoid stretching of the lace. Now I see, that it was not a good idea, since the transition from the lace part to the side/front is not smooth enough, and now I do not think, that on larger needles the lace panel would have grown at all. I hope blocking will straighten things out. Eventually it did:)
I wanted to have a longer cardigan, so for the lower back I decided to cast on 50 sts instead of 32 sts (for size S). This ‘ate’ more yarn, than I thought, so the sleeves had to get a bit shorter: after 14 rows of stst I decreased in every 7th row instead of every 8th. I was lucky to use up almost all of this beautiful yarn (3 cones - 450g) for this project, maybe a meter remained.
I am thinking about adding two snap-fasteners or something similar to the fronts, since the layers tend to slip on each other, and I am already seeing myself adjusting them all day long.
I am really happy with the result and also working on it was interesting and challenging.
