Notes

12 jul: cut off the tail. started crocheting a new tail. Hoping to finish this project after work. :)

11 jul: started seaming and totally put the tail in the wrong place (too high). going to undo it and re-attach, which made me stop all progress. I just need to do that, sew the face, and attach the head (legs, arms, ears attached already).

8 jul: tail done, it’s white. I will probably add some pink to it after/during assembly. Pulled the orangey-yellow yarn out of the stash and will hook the body with it. :)

7 july: head, arms, legs, ears done. I’m basically out of the pink yarn now (a few yards) so I think the tail will be white with maybe some little sewn bits of the pink. the body will be… probably yellow-orange. we’ll see.

5 july: OK. I am going to sew CC patches to the arms, and I am reknitting the legs so they have a CC paw. That should be fine and also help me conserve the pink yarn for the ears and tail…

5 july: I redid the head and it should be fine now (I hope). Both arms are done and one leg is almost done. I am seriously low on pink yarn. The body will probably end up blue or yellowy-orange.. I’m just hoping I have enough pink left for the tail after finishing the legs+ears!

Totally forgot to do CC paws… crap. I might rip these back and redo them. DAMMIT.

ARGH! this is all wonky or something because the head ended up like a … cartoon UFO shape. I ripped back a couple of incs and I guess I will work more even rows before the decs, but I am so slow I might be tempted to instead knit Kate ( http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/kate ).

4 jul: I chained on yesterday. I think I’ll probably run out of the pink, so she’ll probably have some different color used on the body. We’ll see how my wrist holds up to tight crocheting (so stuffing doesn’t get through).

queue: I’m going to use ww yarn like many others have, scraps of whatever I happen to have around.
