Ends woven in. Need to wash/block to even out the stitches.

29 feb: DONE! just need to find a needle to weave in a couple of ends. Hooray!

28 feb (again): 35 rows + 5 ribbing per sleeve. 19 rows in on the second sleeve. I’m babysitting my niece tonight and then going to N’s hockey game, so sock knitting tonight. Tomorrow I will finish this sweater during the Caps-NJ game (on tv).

28 feb: halfway done with the second sleeve. I should finish it tonight. I think I will be crocheting around the front of the neckline as well since it tends to roll a bit (I have no rolling in the back or top of sleeves because I used short rows and some minor ribbing back there).

26 feb: bound off the first sleeve last night and picked up the stitches for the second sleeve. I should be done with this sweater this week and then I will work on something else (something new? something old and wooly?)

25 feb: got distracted with rock band. I am tired of knitting with cotton! I did a fitting last night to check the length of the sleeve -- it just needs some ribbing and a bind off and I am onto the other sleeve. I am SO close to finished and yet so far. I want wooly stuff to knit, dangit.

24 feb: I swear I will finish this today! I’m sooo close on the first sleeve and I just joined the 4th ball of yarn. I shouldn’t have to use more than half of it to finish the sleeves.

18 feb: no knitting today. I’m about halfway on the first sleeve. I think I am going elbow-length.

17 feb: woo! found another ball in the same dye lot at the store. I may make this 3/4 sleeve now. We’ll see. At least elbow length, possibly with a lace-rib cuff.

17 feb: finished the body, started a sleeve. I think I need another ball of yarn to make the sleeves as long as I’d like, so I am going out to look for the same dyelot.

11 feb 2008: picked this back up. it’s so close to done really. I’m through the waist and on the hip increases.

Jul 2007: Just tried it on again -- I’m now at the waist section, and all of the adjustments I made for my bust worked out great. There’s still a fair amount of knitting to go, but this is a good watching-hub-play-hockey project now, since it’s all just knit knit knit around!

I have three top-down raglans intended for summer wear in progress… I may be able to finish ONE of them before the end of summer - ha ha.

This one is the current leader because it hurts my wrist less than one of the others (araucania nature cotton) and it requires less brainpower than the other one (silky tweed with a complicated lace pattern). So it’s very much in the middle but that may cause it to win!
