Did a provisional cast-on of 38 stitches, knit 5 inches plain before starting the spray pattern. Did the complete spray pattern from Elegant Ellen, then finished with another 5 inches plain before kitchener-ing the ends together. It curls a little, but I am happy with how it turned out.

Description of how event theme is met: I’ve been listening to the music from the Final Fantasy franchise pretty much exclusively for over ten years now. I just love it so much! Most of it is instrumental, but there are a few songs with lyrics. One of these songs is Distant Worlds, which includes the following lyrics:

Water fades back from blue to jade Guiding young rainbows high Flowers bloom into reds and wines Quenching our hearts as they run dry

I knit a jade-colored cowl inspired by this verse.
