I got a comment from the designer - she fixed the errors I mentioned below.

I think there are some errors in the pattern. For example, when doing the eyes it said to “inc sc” around, but doing so wouldn’t give the number of stitches listed. I followed the stitch count in parentheses instead of the written instructions.
