Did only 7 rounds of the ribbing. If I had done the full 17 that the pattern calls for, my ribbing would have been three inches long! Way too long for my tastes. Also, since the pictures looked slouchy and I don’t like slouchy hats, I started the decreases one round after the chart was finished.

I’m still pretty new to stranded knitting, so I got a lot of puckering on my hat. It fits, though, so I’m pretty happy.
