7 dec - knit a row in hospital
24 mar - picked it up again, got rid of the stitch markers and put running threads in instead
25 mar - got rid of the markers altogether! have knit 9 rows since picking it up yesterday. 1.75 rpts of the central lace section done. whoo-hoo. that’s about 20% of the middle.
26 mar - knitting going much better now that i have removed all the markers. finished rpt 4 of 18, that’s 22% of lace done, 30% of the middle panel, 20% overall but who’s calculating??
10 apr - finished rpt 5 of 18. finished half of rpt 6 - i’m calling it 25%
13 apr - rpt 6 finished
10 may - half way through rpt 8. weighs 59gm and i have 116gm to go.
11 may - rpt 8 finished. almost halfway through centre panel!
12 may - did 9 rows of rpt 9 in one sitting. i’m calling it 30% done here - whoo-hoo!
17 may - rpt 10 done.

1 sept - hmm, how did that happen? picked it up again yesterday. have finished 12 rpts.
3 oct - finished 14 rpts.
18 oct - finished rpt 15.
21 oct - finished rpt 16 in one afternoon/evening. plan to do last remaining rpts tomorrow. both of them.
22 oct - finished rpt 17 - eeek! will try to work on the last one later today … ok, one third of the way through rpt 18. tired now.
23 oct - finished rpt 18!! finished the centre lace section!! hooray!!
25 oct - ok, amazingly easy knitting now, have done 22 rows of border
done row 60 of border, 18 rows to go. would love to do a preliminary blocking before SLC.
26 oct - central panel done, done, done!!

22 nov - am doing well with the edging, almost halfway through.
23 nov - turned first corner B, so half way.
2 dec - have done 70 edge rpts, 30 to go. am anxious about grafting the ends together simply bc i don’t already know how to do that and hence will have to look up instructions and try out sth new.
8 dec - finished second corner A (82 edge rpts).
9 dec - only 5 rpts to go. am almost feeling sick with excitement? apprehension? at finishing this.
10 dec - knitting done, grafted
