knit with yarn doubled, 4.5mm for ribbing, 5mm for hat, 4mm for i-cord. fit 2-4yo. worked 14 pattern rows straight after ribbing. lost track of st count somewhere in the last few rows - oh well, makes it more organic. not sure about the colour/yarn choice but is for a preschool auction so had to use sth superwash and make it fast.
