7 sep 12 - hooray!! Tassels complete, hats complete.

6 sep 12 - why is finishing so tedious? Especially when having something finished is so marvelous? Why do I just want to hold on and hold on to these projects? Casings sewn down, just the tassels to go.

19 aug - tried making i-cord with 2.25mm bamboo dpns and dk yarn, not happening. Am doing v tight plaits instead with 6 strands of yarn. Coming up nicely. Done two red, two white next. halfway through hat 1 - 16 grams of white (main colour), 11 grams of red (contrast colour)

18 aug - completed knitting yesterday. Grafted today.

7 aug - started on this again yesterday-ish. it’s quite easy knitting once you get into the rhythm. have completed row 24

25 mar - hooray, bought an addi lace needle

12 mar - hooray, hat one complete except ties/tassels. unsure why second facing is 9 rows deep when first is only 6 rows deep. took 25 grams (half a skein) of chalk. plan to knit i-cords
