I made this cardi using felted tweed back in 2000. It was a great cardi and I got lots of wear out of it. Unfortunately, it shrank in the wash. So I decided to knit it up again (using washable yarn). It’s a great, wear-all-the-time cardi - just throw it on and it’s so comfortable.
I made the plain version with the crocheted edge collar. Very easy pattern.
The sirdar yarn is great to work with - great value for money and the colour is wonderful.
