The natural creamy brown of this yarn was overdyed with a red dye to get a terra cotta color. I dithered a lot on the pattern but finally settled on this one. I really like the square collar.

I’ve now finished the body and I’m starting on the sleeves. I was worried that joining the new yarn at the sleeve stitches would be noticeable since I forgot to save some of the yarn from that area of the body to use for starting the sleeves. But I don’t see a definite line on the first sleeve so that is good news! The yarns were dyed in two separate (but with same recipe) dye pots. So it looks like I got the consistency I wanted in the skeins. There is color depth and variation within each skein, but the skeins so far are pretty uniform. I hope this keeps up for the second sleeve!
