NoCKRs is coming soon and I decided to cast on another project from prior year destash yarn. This year’s destash room is sure to be brimming with yarn from the last two years when the retreat was cancelled. I have to make room in my stash for possible finds.
The first Mielie vest that I made has gotten A LOT of use over the years. So I decided to make another. This one is the size 36 so it should have some positive ease. Also, I’m using a size 8 needle to get the fabric I want so I had to adjust the pattern numbers. Not sure what I’ll do with the collar--I think the mohair might be too itchy. Then again, maybe the mohair will be so warm that I won’t want the collar up.
