Are you looking for a unique gift or a new accent for your home? This blanket was inspired by the purchase of our new couch - it needed a new throw! This throw is so cuddly cozy, yet the lace sections allow it to breathe.

It uses just under 11 skeins of Mary Maxim’s Woodland yarn (for the purple version) and about 5 skeins of Red Heart Super Saver for the grey version. The pattern utilizes front and back post treble crochets and double crochet. The ribbing border is worked as you create the blanket, so it’s all worked in one piece (which means that there’s less ends to weave in afterwards!).

I named this the 4 Day Throw, however, I did spend about 8-10 hours per day on this. Please note that depending on your skill level and time dedicated to this project, your timing may vary. This is an intermediate to advanced skill level pattern.

The stitch used is one that I created from a knit stitch that I love and just had to adapt it to crochet. There is a video tutorial that shows you how to do the stitch as you create your gauge swatch, as well as a full length video to help you work the entire blanket. The paid pdf is 15 pages with large font, a chart, row checklist and gift tags for gifting your blanket.

The gauge swatch for this blanket uses one leaf section from the pattern to create a 6” x 5” motif. It’s included in the pattern and also has a video tutorial.
