I’m knitting this for the Opposites Attract KAL.
It’s my first time knitting with hand dyed yarn.
When I have tried knitting with colour changing or variegated yarn. I normally cut the yarn to make it do the colour changes I want, so this is a challenge.

Ordered another skein 28/11, as I wanted it to be longer. I have hit the number of rows, but will keep going.

Started on the second skein, was six rows in and the hand dyed is very intensely blue. Which caused a massive blue pooled patch.
Frogged all six rows of the second ball and frogged back 21 rows (approximately 10g) of the first ball to alternate the skeins.
Will need to do this when ready for the third ball. Which has currently been lost by AusPost

Frogged back because I wasn’t happy with the colour transition between the different skeins.
Have no rewound the skeins and reorganised the order to make it more cohesive and not to jarring.
Finished increasing and I am now decreasing!!

Finished! Even the ends are weaved in.
The shawl is taller than I am. I’ve had to order more blocking mats, so I can block it!
