As I want to use the sweater pattern as a guideline for a top down yoke sweater, I will knit the matching hat as a swatch. Not sure about the colours I want to use and if I will alter the chart…

Finished! Width pre-blocking: 22 cm
So gauge is about 33 stitches for 10 cm
Length before starting decreases: 21 cm
Length of brim: 7 cm (want to fold it over, but was too lazy to knit it longer - Idealy, it should be about 1-2 cm longer.

Now I just have to find out why the bottom stitches in the crosses before the crown decreases are so loose…

Did the crown decreases as described in the Anthology Hat »as I needed less stitchmarkers.
