Love how this looks in the heavier yarn, but we will see if it might not turn out too heavy… The yarn is a bit on the splittier side, which is why I am not too keen on working with it especially for crochet. But it is ok as long as I am careful to get all plies.

Finished 1st ball app. 3/4 into first half circle.

Started second half circle after about a week of pause, started third ball of yarn about halfway into this second half circle.

June 9, 2020

Finished strap and exactly used 5 balls of yarn as given in pattern - yeah! I had one extra, just in case… Made the strap 40 cm long as in pattern, but I espect it to stretch when in use.

Now just sewing in the ends and off we go using this!
