Wanted to knit another pair of “male” socks for christmas, but needed a different pattern than the trusted Schicke Stinos, so I tried this - and I really like it so far!

10 rows are knitting up quite quickly, and I always push forward to “knit just one more pattern repeat”.
In addition, the fabric is nice and stretchy and will hopefully fit snuggly without being too tight.

In addition, the pattern repeats are a good counting help - I did six “bricks” for the leg and will see how many for the foot.

Size 42/43 is supposed to be knit 16.5 cm after end of heel flap.

Okay, change of plan - knit too long, so 9 “bricks” for the foot give me more like a size 45, so those will be for my nephew who has very big feet.

Try to make the toe shorter - decrease every other row to 24 stitches per needle, then every row. Total foot length is supposed to be app. 28.5 cm according to this table »
