Notes

The Strandtreppe socks were so much fun to knit and the recipients praised the fit so much that I decided to knit more socks by Nicolor, so this will be it!

Started heel increases after 2 purl ridges only

Finished 1st sock

Finished 2nd sock. These are huge on me - well, it is for a male size, but for a woman with bigger feet, 60 stitches might be enough as I tend to purl way less tight than knit. So might want to cast on fewer stitches next time - I want to make a pair for myself, in a lighter colour.

Though the heel turn for the second sock went smoother, I used the German short row method (Doppelmaschen) instead of the one given in the pattern as I could not see the stitch below properly in artificial light with this dark yarn…
