My sister in law is an avid dog mum and plans to have her golden retriever trained for therapy dog. She “ordered” some fingerless mittens to be able to hand out treats without removing the mittens.

Wanted to try these with sockyarn held doubled for some time, so this will be it. I casted on 36 stitches with 4 mm needles, sockyarn held doubled.

Did a k4, p2 ribbing to make them more tight-fitting.

Finished first mitten - did 15 rows in pattern after thumb seperation, then 5 rows of k1, p1 before binding off in pattern.

For the thumb, I did 6 rows knit, then k1 p1 for 3 rounds.

I am at the second mitten of my second pair - this time, I did k3, p1 and did less rows before starting the thumb increases.

Finished second pair. I have enough yarn for another pair, again in k3 P1 I think
