It’s my colleague Jenny’s birthday in early January. She has tiny feet (I can’t remember when I last knit so small socks for an adult) and will get these socks filled with coins for the coffee machine. As the pattern is also called “Kaffeböhnchen” (Little coffee beans), I think this is fitting…

I knit 10 “beans” for the leg and 15 for the foot before starting the toe.

Wow that was quick - a pair of socks in two days, and I even knit on something else as well… So those are finished for the birthday in January, now I go for mere pleasure knitting!
