Finished 36 squares - planning to do it app. 12 squares wide t the moment and maybe 15 to 20 squares long- do not want something too huge… We will see! I am quite proud that so far, I always wove in my ends immediately.

Added another square with the leftovers of my Tiffy Cowl (only had about a metre of the leftover ball left -peeew!) and another one from the leftovers of my Aldi Mittens.

49 squares in total - reached my goal for February today. Swapped some minis with Julia - Humbug Watson

Timed myself - it takes me about 1 hour to complete 1 square and the resulting square is app. 9 cm in length of each side. Worked in the bright purple and the variegated purple of Julia’s swap minis and just completed square number 46. Would prefer to go on working on my blanket, but one of my goals for February is to finish my cardigan’s body and there is quite some knitting to be done for that sighs

Did some math: I think I will aim to get a blanket 13 squares wide and 15 squares high, i.e. 195 squares in total to be knit. Which means I am at 23% now and still have 149 squares to knit. If I manage to finish 2 squares a week, this means I will have 74.5 weeks left to knit, i.e. app.1.5 years - woooooh, that’s a lot!
