Got my parcel today and it is soooo nice! So cutely wrapped and I got a Goldmännchen tea advent calendar - I looooove Goldmännchen tea!

Yeah, let’s go! I had this green-blue yarn in my calendar today, so I casted on the numbers as given in the Hanne pattern. I used a tiny leftover from Drops Nord in yellow to do that fake embroidery stitch from the Loona pattern and some Drops Nord in cream to add some contrast after I knit up all of today’s ball.

My second ball is grey with white, pink and green- I think this will look great!

3d ball was mostly purple, I added another row of fake embroidery in green to that one and some of the white Drops Nord until it was long enough to separate for the sleeves.

The ball for Dec. 4th is light pink with purple speckles - I love that I get to use colours so different from what I usually choose.

Finally did the “flower” pattern today, app. 4 cm after separating for the sleeves. My base colour is blueish-grey, and I choose a tealy-blue for the “flower” part - could have been a little more in contrast, but worked out ok.

Added some additional leftovers from my stash during the weekend and tried the Büschelmaschen pattern and the Punkter pattern from the sweater I currently knit.

It continued quite on the pink side on Monday 9, then grey and white on Tuesday and more dark grey with some red and yellow on Wednesday 11.

My bobbele today is yellow, pink and darkish blue.

Measured today and wasat 60 cm after I started No. 14 ( a nice tealy one). Decided to only do 2 garter ridges from that ans then started the bottom ribbing.

Used a dark red yarn from my stash but had to find out that with my nearly 50 year old eyes, it is really hard to see the stitches and find out if it is a knit or a purl… So I made som “pattern variations” in the first 4 rows or so, but it is fine noe.

Plan to alternate two little balls in the sleeves every 4 rows and plan to pick up for the first sleeve tomorrow.

Finished the ribbing for the body today and started the first sleeve with 89 stitches.

Alternating the balls from day 14 and 15 every 4 rows, decreasing 2 stitches in the 3d row of colour 1.

December 17, 2019

Finished 1st sleeve: Decreased to 60 stitches, decreasing 2 stitches in the third row of every other stripe.

Did 39 stripes in total and then added a burgundy red cuff as for the body.

Finished 2nd sleeve and picked up for Front bands

Did a shawl collar using short rows 44 stitches past the middle marker on each side, adding 3 stitches before working the doubled stitch, using the Rubator method.

Used my bobble from Dec. 20 for most of the short rows and then added the burgundy red again which I used for cuffs of the arms and body.

Worked only 3 buttonholes and I am not totally sure if I want to add buttons, but so I will habe the options.

Will have to work app. 10 rows of burgundy before I can bind off (after 6 cm total for button band)
