Okay,my first try was with a much heavier yarn, but this was way to heavy and mor than a carpet than a bag. This simple dishcloth cotton is perfect, and I get gauge although I use a smaller hook. Will probably continue with my Drops Safran as I ran out of the dishcloth cotton.
Gnaaaa- it would be wise to count stitches once in a while when increasing - I only counted before I started the decreases and found out that I ended up with more than 140 stitches instead of 100something. I decreased quickly and started the handle- but the proportions are just not right, so I think I will have to frog the whole thing down to the bottom.. sighs
Finally! Finished and quite like it, though it might be a little too slouchy to show off all those flowers. Bottom fotos show first try with bulky Rosario yarn and the pumpkin cozy which I frogged. Stuck to dishcloth cotton in the final version, did the sc border with the Rödel Lambada. Flowers are improvised versions from this flower hat thing and from these. I put the flowers where I joined a new colour of yarn to hide the steps.
