You can clearly see which was the first mitten…
I decreased for the tip of the first like I would do for a sock, starting with decreases every other row.

This has been hibernating for weeks, I finished the first mitten from a little above the cuff to finish in a day, same for the second mitten.

For the second, I knitted straigt for longer and then decreased every row, as the pattern tells you.

Also, for the second mitten, I did not use a contrasting thread which I would have to pull out, but put 10 stitches on a holder for the thumb and casted 10 stitches newly on above - prefer this method.

I addition, I was astonished to see how few contrast there is between the cream and the yellow, so I changed to pink in the second mitten.
