Notes

Well, nothing brings your knitting mojo back like a nice pattern by Westknits the Bestknits - yeah!

Stumpled upon this pattern when searching for summer garments and decided that this is a much better use for my souvenir yarn from hiking vacation in Zillervalley last year!

We will go again in August this year and the plan is to wear this when being there and showing the lady in the nice yarn shop.

Intend to make the armholes a little narrower so I do not necessary have to wear something underneath.

June 18, 2020

My gauge is little oft 22 stitches on 10 cm

June 19, 2020

Started neck decreases after 42 rigdges
Continued increasing on the other side for added length

June 21, 2020

Finished front, casted on 55 stitches for back, will work 42 ridges to match front increases.

June 22, 2020

Finished upper back, joined it to the lower front without additional cast on stitches.

Blue Supergarne lasted up to app. 1 cm after attaching, started using the silk yarn again, striping with the bamboo.

June 25, 2020

Finished grey Wolle1000 yarn and attached 50 g Supergarne Bamboo - hope this will be enough!

June 27, 2020

Finished knitting, did the Icord bind-off on the bottom with 5 mm needles, that around the arms and the neck with 3.75 mm.

July 2, 2020

Took in-wear photos today and quite like how it turned out! The armhole could be a tad smaller and it grew a little lengthwise in washing which is good.

Put it on to take photos but I think I will keep it on for today to see how warm it is. It is not too hot today, around 22 degrees, so this should be fine.
