Want to make this again using the sock yarn scraps I will get in the Osterwichtel-Swap.
As I finished my earlier project and have quite a lot of knitting time due to all the Corona craze, I decided to start this early.
I want to make a mandarin neck with doubled layers and maybe a drawstring, so I casted on around 100 stitches from the grey Landlust yarn as the inner layer. Will do around 30 rows before doing a turning ridge in purl and then start striping my leftovers - not decided yet if I want to do 2 row stripes or 4 row strips…

Casted on 98 stitches, knitted 28 rows before doing a turning purl row, then another 28 rows striping.
Folded the grey part to the inside and knitted the live stitches together with the provisional cast on.
Increased to 116 stitches and will now follow the directions for size XL go get something M-ish.

Decided today I needed a little pick-me-up and opened the package - I am overwhelmed with what Socke77 put together for me - sosossososososo wonderful!
Handpainted egg carton, even more yarn than agreed on, tags with the origin on each egg, easteregg colour and seeds, a little candle - soooo wonderful!
Oh, and loads of sweets as well! Decided that I have to start to use that yarn now and not only starting next Sunday.

Finished bottom cuff. Did not do a split hem, but a curved edge with short rows as in my Punkter sweater.
Started the sleeves, picked up 80 stitches, first 2 stitch decrease after 10 rounds (i.e. 5 green stripes), decreased 2 stitches in every first round of every second green stripe after that.

Finished sleeve no. 1 with 10 rows of ribbing in that pink Trekking XXL which I also used to cast off the body. Now just one sleeve to go, yeah!
