Not enough contrast in my colors, so I frogged this hat to the brim.

Restarted with sand colored as a contrast. Much better!
My main color is Wollmeise, so very soft. That helps to soften up the coarse rustic xisqueta yarn, and produces a wearable hat. I cast on 90 stitches. The mosaic pattern draws in quite a bit, it is a bit on the small side, so will probably be a present for a teen. Just not that many teens in my social circle…
