The photo tutorial is very clear! A tubular cast-on is always a bit fiddly but worth the trouble.
Too bad I managed to twist the cast-on, I’ll have to start over.

Second time went much better. I am enjoying the pattern. My yarn choice could have been better, I think the cables would show clearer in a nice rounded yarn
