Done with my notes from the Fiji Dreams Shrug I made in 2014.

Chain 61. Shrug pattern for 18.5”. Join for first sleeve: Crochet 6 rows dc in round for each sleeve. Edging on sleeve is shell, ch1. Each shell is 3 dc in a single dc of previous row.

Basically, I used the shrug pattern for only the back, crocheted flat. Then I added each sleeve by joining and crocheting each in the round in plain dc with a shell edging.

Remember that you are chaining on the short edge and crocheting from left to right, then adding each sleeve.
