If I’m going to start the ATB “innings” with 9, the center square needs to be a multiple of 6 minus 1. So, after the ATB Border Tutorial, I need to have 101 stitches per side. Multiplier (see pattern) is 17.

I brought this to the Crochet Crew meetup yesterday at the Concord Public Library and my friend Nicky really liked it. She has a friend with two daughters who are expecting babies and she’d like to buy this one from me and commission a similar one as well. The thing is she needs this one by August 6 which is only 4 days from now. She’s OK with it being whatever size it ends up at that point.

So, challenge accepted!

After finishing the ATB Border Tutorial and Inning 9, I decided this was actually a good size for a baby blanket and the shells made a nice edging. So, on to baby blanket #2 for Nicky.
