Notes

I started the shawl with a provisional cast-on of 3 sts and picked up the loops later instead of knitting stitches out of the cast-on edge.

The instructions are clear and concise, easy to work from.

One third of yarn used up after 56 rows of chart B.
Second skein used up after 88 rows of chart B.
I shall knit to 96 rows and start the border then.

Update: Three skeins were not enough for Aran yarn, six repeats in height and needle size 6 mm. When there was about one fifth of the edge stitches left, my third skein was used up. I was lucky in finding a part skein so that I could finish the shawl. It weighs about 312 grams.
Size after washing and drying: 85 by 170 cm.

I recommend calculating at least 530-550 meters for the shawl if you use a 6 mm needle and work six repeats, just to be on the safe side.
Apart from this, it is a joy to knit and not too difficult.
