Notes

Well now, how do I begin? I LOVE this pattern. It’s just perfect! I’ve been wearing this non stop because I guess I’m just an elegant sweatshirt kinda gal. The yarn is a blend of extra fine merino and cashmere and it’s just so soft and lovely, and combined with a basic slouchy shape, it’s a combination of elegant and casual. I love it so much I’m making one in some vintage Rowan Denim and still another one is an ivory Haven.

The best part of this pattern? You can use fingering weight, DK, worsted and aran weights! It’s all in the one pattern. Yay!!

There are no short rows written into the pattern to raise the back neck, but if you like that sort of thing they are really easy to add. I added two sets right after the ribbing and next time I will add 3 or 4 sets.

In the pictures you can see that there seems to be a dye lot issue. I was shocked with these pictures because to the eye, when I’m just wearing it and looking at it you can’t tell at all, but pictures don’t lie! I think I always look at the dye lot, and in fact remember looking at them at the store because they were on sale and that is always a red flag for me to check the dye lots, but I’m certain they were from one dye lot and I don’t have the labels anymore to check. Oh well, this does not bother me anyway, so ces’t la vie!
