Notes

I made a few modifications. I ended up using a 4.5mm needle throughout to get the fabric I wanted. I switched to a 4mm just for the neck ribbing. I really just wanted a plain tank, so I didn’t do the short row shaping for the back and instead knit it with a straight hem. It turned out beautifully and the pattern was great!

Note: this is a recycled yarn, so don’t be surprised if you come across the odd knot. I had two, which is totally manageable. Don’t let this scare you away from this wonderful yarn! Knots in yarn are a part of knitting life, without them there would be a lot more waste (which I assume you’re trying to reduce if you’re attracted to a recycled fibre) and yarn would be a lot more expensive. For this type of yarn I would suggest cutting out the knots as you come to them, leaving at least a 3” tail and then weaving the ends in later. This yarn will not spit splice well because of the cotton content.
