Notes

Here are two starter projects for the new BabyTURTLE™ hexagon pin loom.

Each hexagon needs only 27” (69cm) of worsted weight yarn.

To make the key chain:

  • Weave 4 hexagons in white.
  • Weave 3 hexagons in sky blue.
  • Use the photo as guidance for how to sew the hexagons together.
  • Weave in ends.
  • Gently felt the snowflake by rubbing it in hot water with dish detergent. Dry on paper towel.
  • Add key chain (you can find those in the jewelry department of a craft store).

To make the BFF bracelet:

  • For an adult size (shown), weave 7 hexagons in colors of your choice. For a child size, weave 5-6 hexagons in colors of your choice.
  • Weave in the starting yarn ends.
  • Use the other yarn ends to connect the hexagons to form a chain.
  • Use the last yarn end to close to a ring, careful to not twist the chain (unless you want a moebius effect).
  • The bracelet is ready to wear. If you wish you can soak it in Eucalan, or felt it according to the directions above.
