I purchased a painted warp from Iridescent Fibers called “across the universe” in beautiful clear greens and blues. I paired it up with dark teal and a soft gold and separated out small runs on either side of the main warp. I used an 8 shaft crackle draft and used dark teal as weft on one, and azure on the second.

A lovely warp that was fun to weave as the colours shift and change. It reminded me of a special lake in the Okanagan Valley (in south central BC, Canada) called Kalamalka Lake. Google the name…. and be amazed!
