Just love the colours in variegated yarns but don’t know what to knit with them? Always be Brave is the ideal solution!

Team up one colourful yarn with you favourite contrasting neutral and create this stunning shawl!!

The shawl features a very simple construction using an easily memorized 12 row repeat. It starts with a focus on the neutral yarn and a simple slip stitch technique creates highlighted rows of textured coloured bubbles. The effect is then reversed by making the variegated yarn the star. This shawl is knit in sport weight yarn making it that little bit cosier for those colder days, as well as being faster to knit! But you can use sock or DK weights and just adjust the number of repeats you make! Just remember your yarn requirements will differ from the pattern.

Malabrigo Arroyo 100% Merino wool; 335 yd/306 m per 100g skein;
