Pre-blocking gauge with US 6 needles for the st st and US 5 for the bottom ribbing (knitting the swatch mitts as a swatch, another pattern from the Seasonless book)

Post-blocking gauge: too small (I need to update with numbers)

But after sizing up to a US 7 and knitting a pocket as a swatch, I found that was nearly perfect gauge (tight by half a stitch, but that’s fine with me)
US 5 for rib.

3/17/24 — knit body to 14.5” before switching needle sizes and knitting the ribbing (I added 1.25”)

Added length to sleeves (will measure pre- and post-blocking)

For buttonband:

Picking up all stitches (not knitting), following Cocoknits tutorial.

72 sts for each front, to account for extra body length.
Buttonholes every 11 stitches.
