Using Chiagoo dpns for the first time. This yarn is a bit more plump, so opted for US 1. I like the fabric.

Knit per pattern, with these exceptions:

• Knit a slightly shorter leg. Three full repeats and a partial fourth (one less than specified). Same leg length as my previous two pairs of Cyril socks
• Knit a slipped stitch heel. Wanted something more mindless. Knit until total of 16 sts in each slipped stitch column.
• when picking up sts, picked up17 instead of specified 16 sts for size M
• Because I’m knitting at a larger gauge (loose knitter, knitting on recommended needles when I usually size down one size), gusset decreases every OTHER row, rather than every third row.
• Total of 9 radiant repeats, one plain row, then begin toe decreases.

This pattern fits my foot so well.
