Single rib neckline, folded neckline, and mock turtleneckline options are provided in pattern.

This sweater is worked from the top down, flat to start and then joined in the round at center front when neckline shaping is completed. Sleeves and neckline are worked seamlessly in the round.

She tucked her legs up beneath her on the faded velvet couch. Intoxicating, the smell of books. Fresh books of acidic, cleanly printed ink, aged books of dust and antiques. Opening the cover of a story felt like stepping into a new world. Each line, every single word on that page was a journey, gently whisking her up and away like a brightly patterned hot air balloon. The tale made reality seem like those houses on the ground-small, and not quite as urgent as before. It was a new experience, a golden horizon that widened as the sun set over each chapter. Steep mountains of obstacles, rich valleys of tumbling conflicts and adventures at every turn. Protagonists sharing wisdom through their own chronicles, merely by existing. Each part of the book was a different home- new and yet…familiar. Insight shared through feelings resting deep in our souls. Perhaps we are not alone after all, in our yearning for comfort, our fear of being alone, our desire for adventure…and that is the beauty of the written story- we find each other and ourselves in ink on a page.

This is the midweight version of Bibliophile. There is also a fingering weight version if you’re looking for something to suit warmer weather!

I have not read The Overstory yet so I cannot endorse it, its on my list to read but the colors blended so beautifully with my vintage book

Errata: increases on the “prepare to join in the round” should all be worked as established.
