The Briyoke pattern comes in two versions, cardigan and sweater! You’ll get both when purchasing this pattern.

PATTERN DETAILS

Briyoke is knitted top down with two decorative brioche sections on its round yoke. For Briyoke Cardigan the brioche sections are worked back and forth. The body is knitted in the round with a steek. For Briyoke Pullover the whole piece is knitted in the round, with no seaming necessary.

Instructions for straight body, body with waist shaping and cropped body are included.

Languages: English and Swedish

Yarn: Cheeky Merino Joy or Dandelion Rosy Sport (100 g = 320 meter) or any other Sport weight yarn that gives you the correct gauge. Sample is shown in Dandelion Rosy Sport.

300 (300, 400, 400, 500, 500, 500) g of main color. Less than 50 g each of contrasting colors.

Size: XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL), with bust circumference of finished garment 80 (88, 96, 104, 116, 128, 140) cm. Sweater should be worn with 2-6 cm positive ease. Measurement for cardigan is 2,5 cm larger and the cardigan should be worn with 4-8.5 cm positive ease.

Needles: 60 cm and 80-100 cm circulars, 3 mm and 3.5 mm or the size you need to obtain gauge

Other supplies: Sewing machine, scissors, removable stitch markers (8-12) and 8-12 small sized buttons.

Gauge (after blocking): 16 stitches and 28 rounds is 10 x 10 cm in brioche stitch on small sized needles (row 1a+1b are counted as one row)

24 stitches and 32 rounds is 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on large sized needles
