This color cowl features my favorite cowl shape and construction method. It is knit in a tube, so the fabric is completely reversible. Increases and decreases form a tapered shape, which functions as a cozy cave of warmth as the wide part curves over your head like a hood. The cast on and bind off edges are seamed together for a completely reversible and double-thick fabric. Stripes and slip stitches form the graphic Cabled Trellis pattern and you only have to work with one color at a time. West Wool Tandem, a DK weight wool, frames the self-striping contrast color. This cowl works well with DK or worsted weight yarns.

Finished Measurements
26″ / 66cm circumference around neck after seaming. 15″ / 38cm at widest part. Measurements taken after blocking.

Spincycle Yarns Dream State is a worsted weight, but it combines beautifully with the DK weight West Wool Tandem.
