DESCRIPTION
This Advanced-Beginner hat is an easy one-skein project that takes only a weekend to make. Knit in the round on US 10 needles, this soft and super warm hat employs an “Embroidery” knitting stitch to evoke a cold January frost pattern. Most embroidery stitch patterns are every-other-round, but I put two extra stockinette stitch rounds in between the pattern to let the design “breathe” a little bit. This also increases the number of rounds with the full stitch count overall, making the hat fit better.

This hat fits between a 21-inch and 22-inch head circumference.
