Inspired by the trellis upon which my climbing hydrangeas grow I designed this easy to knit shawl for long hot lazy days of Summer or Winter when you just want a nice simple project with very few challenging stitches to disturb the tranquil process of simply knitting back and forth as you swing on the porch swing or relax in a hammock.

Sit back, pour a glass of sweet tea and enjoy.

This kit is also a great way to use up that gradient set you picked up at your local fiber festival, no need to worry about the gauge or yardage, this pattern is worked from one corner to the other so you finish where you finish based on the look and hand you’re going for.

A free version is no longer available unless you purchase an Urth Merino Gradient Kit, it is inside.

Comments:
Gauge is stated using the stockinette pattern including the purls which tend to sit beneath the knit stitches when you are counting the gauge.

Pattern can be easily adapted to accommodate other yarns.

Good news, this one is going to be out in my book in June 2023
