The Houndstooth Messenger is a beginner messenger style tote bag pattern.
Using standard stitches this pattern is worked in one piece from the bottom up.
With instructions for 3 sizes, and the option to make a classic laptop bag or larger tote style bag.

Yarn: you will need 8 - 10 balls on Paintbox Simply Cotton Aran or a similar amount of any Aran/Worsted or 4 weight yarn
Hook: 4.5mm
Other materials: darning needle, stitch markers, scissors

Optional materials: handle, fat quarter, sewing needle, button or magnetic closure.
