Finished Size: Body - 10” square, Strap – At user’s discretion

You will receive a 3-page PDF with written instructions (US terminology) and a chart to make the strap using the Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) crochet technique.

LFM uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh which is interwoven as you go. Two colors are worked in alternate rows to create the pattern.

Important Details
Pattern is in US crochet terminology
4.5 mm hook (US7)
Worsted weight yarn (520 yards total)
o Main color (MC) – 295 yards
o Accent color (AC) – 225 yards

Gauge
4 DC x 2 rows = 1” square

You can choose whichever colors you like! Usually MC is darker than AC and the design will show up better if the colors are not too similar to each other.

I use hook size 4.5 (US7) and worsted weight in my patterns; your finished product will be much smaller if you use a lighter weight yarn and hook.
